The Daniel's Race committee is extremely grateful to all of the families that we have been able to support over the years. Thanks to the kindness of our community, we have helped multiple children who are dealing with life-threatening illnesses.
Oliver:
"Since being a recipient of Daniel's Race, Oliver is thriving! He is an energetic, curious and sweet 3 year old boy. We return to Boston children's hospital each year for minimal tests and procedures. Each visit receiving all positive results! We are in awe of our brave B.E BOY! Our family will forever be incredibly thankful for Daniel's Race and the support we received from the community."
Avrie:
"Avrie has relapsed from high risk ALL leukemia six times. Unfortunately, her last relapse left her with treatment realated paralysis. She is in a wheelchair and learning to live life in a different way. She continues to get maintenance chemotherapy treatments through her port for a month at a time. She has a feeding tube & deals with severe pressure wounds. She is always making the best of it all with a smile on her face."
Nataniel:
"Nataniel underwent a lifesaving surgery in Boston, Massachusetts at the beginning of October in 2023. He remained in the hospital there until just before Thanksgiving. He has had a few challenges since returning home. However, he's making strides in the right direction. Matt and Edmaris greatly appreciate those who have donated, prayed and sent positive vibes their way. The support means the world to them!"
